Rincon Research Corporation in Tucson, AZ is looking for self-motivated embedded software engineers. At least 1-2 years experience with programming in TinyOS and Java is necessary. TinyOS 2.x and hardware engineering experience is extremely beneficial.

Being a research corporation, Rincon's philosophy is to develop reliable open-source TinyOS infrastructure that supports internal projects as well as the TinyOS community. Example research and infrastructure that has been released to the TinyOS community includes the modified CC2420 and CC1000 low power listening stacks; non-volatile storage solutions including flash abstractions, the Blackbook flash file system, and internal microcontroller flash solutions; software testing, analysis, bug fixes, and high resolution power measurements. Internally, Rincon Research also develops non-commercial ad-hoc networking hardware solutions.

Rincon Research is a U.S. government contractor; U.S. citizenship is required. Must be able to obtain and keep a U.S. security clearance.

Send resumes to dmm AT rincon.com. References to previous projects and code would be useful.
